Dear Parents and Guardians,

Your second grader is about to begin the process of preparing for the Sacraments of
Reconciliation and First Eucharist. We invite you and your child to attend a family
meeting to introduce you both to the sacraments, as they exist today in our Church. The
adults will receive important information and instruction that will better help you prepare
your child for these sacraments.  A special folder for you and your child will also be given
out. All the information needed to help prepare your child for these sacraments will be
included in this folder.  While you are meeting in Church the children will be in McCusker
Hall watching a video and working on their prayer ribbon for the Act of Contrition.  Please
give your child a small picture of him or herself that they will be able to use while working
on this project.

We will meet on October 2, 2007 at 7:00PM in the Church and McCusker Hall.  We ask
that you arrive a few minutes early to give yourself time to sign in and receive your
information.

At this meeting we will also announce the dates for First Eucharist and distribute the
Communion Date Choice Sheet. We look forward to seeing you and your child at this
important meeting. We ask anyone who cannot attend this meeting to please contact the
office at 829-9119.

Sincerely,

Sr. Jeanne Belli                                                    Patricia Hafner
