March 10, 2008

Dear Parents and Guardians of Religious Education Students:

We pray this school year has been a time of spiritual growth for you and your entire household.
As we begin to plan for the 2008-2009 religious education school year, registration is the first
item on our agenda. Your family’s registration is critical because we need to have the proper
amount of volunteer catechists in place to help this program be a positive learning experience for
all the children. Therefore, we need to know as soon as possible how many children will be
returning in order to plan class size and the exact number of catechists and class space that will
be needed in September 2008.

• With this in mind, registration will take place now until Wednesday May 1, 2008. We are asking
that all registrations be submitted by this deadline. Unless special arrangements are made, there
will be a $30.00 late fee for registrations received after May 1.

2008-2009 tuition will be:                         $115.00 for 1 child
$165.00 for 2 or more children
Pre school         $30.00 (1 child)                 $45.00 (2 children)                 $60.00 (3 or more)
Class times will be as follows:
          Grade 1-5                 4:10 — 5:10 Tuesday or Wednesday
          Grade 6-7-8 7:        10 — 8:10 Wednesday Evening
Pre school                 during 9:30 Mass Sunday morning

You may return your registration with your child during his/her class time or register in person
during our regular working hours:
          Monday                 8:00 AM -  12:00 PM
          Tuesday                8:00AM — 5:00PM
          Wednesday           8:00AM — 5:00PM and 6:45PM — 8:00PM
          Thursday               8:00AM — 1:00PM
          Friday                    8:00AM— 11:00AM

Please complete the enclosed enrollment form and make sure all the information is up to date
with all necessary changes. If there is specific information about your child that would enable us
to meet special needs or situations regarding their class placement, please indicate that on the
enrollment form in the space provided. Any personal information on this sheet is confidential.
Also, if you need special teacher placement, let us know on the registration form. Due to the large
number of changes in class days that we experienced last year, we ask that you choose the day
carefully for your child to come to class as we can no longer accommodate switching days after
the school year begins.

• If there is a financial hardship at this time please send the enrollment form in with a note and we
will contact you to make arrangements.

If you have a child entering 1st grade please come to the Religious Education Office to fill out a
permanent record card for your child. If your child was not baptized in this parish, bring a copy of
their baptismal certificate with you when you come to register.

We feel confident that together we can make a difference in our community!
Sincerely,

Sr. Jeanne Belli, S.S.J.                                                 Patricia Hafner
