Our Journey Together

Founded in faith and rooted in community, Saint Charles Borromeo Church has been serving the people of Cinnaminson for more than six decades. Established on September 28, 1961, the parish was created to meet the spiritual needs of a rapidly growing local population. From its earliest days, Saint Charles Borromeo has been a place where families gather, faith is nurtured, and Christ is encountered.

Before a church building existed, the parish community came together for Mass at Memorial School, beginning on October 8, 1961. These early gatherings reflected the strong spirit of unity and commitment that continues to define the parish today. On November 4, 1962, ground was broken for the current church facility, and just one year later, on November 3, 1963, the church and school were officially dedicated with the laying of the cornerstone.

As the parish continued to grow, so did its mission and facilities. A major renovation of the church was completed in 2009, further enhancing the beauty and functionality of the sacred space. Over the years, the Saint Charles Borromeo campus has expanded to include an Adoration Chapel, Pre-K building, Parish Office, Meeting Hall, Prayer Garden, and The Barn, all supporting the spiritual, educational, and communal life of the parish.

Today, Saint Charles Borromeo Church is home to approximately 2,200 families and a wide range of ministries dedicated to worship, service, faith formation, and fellowship. The parish continues to be a vibrant and welcoming community where all are invited to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
