Society of St. Vincent De Paul
Blessed Frederic Ozanam, who was inspired by St. Vincent de Paul’s ministry to the poor, founded the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in 1883 in Paris. It is now one of the largest charitable organizations in the world. The men and women of the society come together to grow spiritually and offer service to those in need and living in poverty.
The St. Charles Borromeo Conference, founded in February 2018, is one of over 50 conferences in the Diocese of Trenton. Our mission is to care for the poor in our parish and the Cinnaminson community. We provide financial assistance, on a person-to-person basis, including, but not limited to : utility payments, rent, and food. We offer our guests an opportunity to help themselves on their road to independence.
Our work is supported by the generosity of our parishioners through special collections and from donations in the Poor Box located in the back of the church under the statue of St. Joseph.
